With everyone watching the expenditure these days, it seems that a lot of new sites understand the requirement for quality software in order for them to run their facilities - and many of them (who have sites with less than 250 units) are pleased to discover that we offer a Lite version of our award winning software product.

Recently, we've had a massive uptake in those sites wanting to use our Lite product. So much so, that we have had to go and develop an online training pack of movies! I am pleased to say that these movies are now finished and are available for download for $220 (prices quoted are in AUD for Australian customers; different prices apply for different regions; may not be available in all regions, please contact us for details) for the pack. This represents excellent value and these movie packs contain almost two hours of movies and hints and tips for those sites using StorMan Lite.

 

This got me thinking... in today’s tight economic market, are you and your staff getting the most from your software? Are you on the latest version? Have you considered what you might be missing out on?

With these questions in mind, I wanted to bring to your attention some of the features that have proven popular over the last 6 months or so with our customer base ...and maybe you can see something that you may not yet have taken advantage of.

 

Here goes...

  • Online Reservations – This add on module for StorMan Professional users allows your potential customers to book space and pay a deposit for that space through your website, with seamless integration into the backend of StorMan. This requires ADVAM for the payment side. Read more about Online Reservations here, or this link for technical support information.

  • StorPay – This add on module for StorMan Professional allows your potential customers - as well as your existing customers, to pay their bills through your website. StorPay integrates seamlessly into the backend of StorMan, so that your staff don’t have to write out a receipt! The money is placed onto the transaction ledger of the customer’s account and automatically onto the banking slip at the end of the day or whenever you next do the banking.   • StorerCheck– StorerCheck is built into both StorMan Lite & Professional, and is available to SSAA members for free. All you need to do is sign up. The StorerCheck service is an initiative from the SSAA and is wholly supported by StorMan. Please note that StorerCheck compatibility was added to StorMan in version 7.2.15 and above - so if you're on an older versionand on a current support plan, please contact us for your free upgrade.

  • Direct Debits – The direct debit module is built into every StorMan package and allows the StorMan software to debit the monthly amount straight out of the Storers bank account into yours. This service requires ADVAM to work and for the Self Storage business to be direct debit compliant.

  • Internet Backups – This module is designed for both StorMan Lite & Professional and ensures peace of mind for your facility, by taking a backup of your data offsite to our encrypted servers in Brisbane. The beauty of this is that provided the internet is up the StorMan package will reach out to the backup server at a time and day suitable for your business and backs up your database. This will give you 4 backups a month that don’t reside on your site effectively ensuring you are not adversely affected should the worst happen. Read more about Internet Backups here.
