In what may be the most confusing blog-title of the year, I'm pleased to launch our new Client Support & Services Portal for StorMan users - called myStorMan (*holds close to chest... mine! All mine!*). Actually, it's really your portal, so it should actually be called yourStorMan - but if you're the one saying it, it would then be myStorMan. Confused? I am, but hey - it's a catchy name and the website is easy to remember too - my.storman.com - simple!
So what can you do with your StorMan... err, sorry - myStorMan? It's essentially a portal site that gives you access all of our forms (for new businesses, etc), our online store, our manuals and, of course, our searchable technical support knowledgebase. Those of you who have been StorMan clients for some time will probably remember our Support Knowlegebase - but it was slow, clunky, confusing and had the appeal of a camel with smallpox. So we've redesigned it, improved database access and given everything a slick new look.
Speaking of new looks, you've probably already noticed that our website has been redesigned - for the same reason as the knowledgebase - too clunky, too narrow, the appeal of a camel etc. It's been a lot of hard work updating a stack of websites to utilise a consistent look & feel, but there's a lot of new behind-the-scenes stuff which will make your surfing experience on storman.com (and the many other sites within our network) faster, easier and more-integrated with future versions of our software - just wait until you see what's coming later in 2009!!
