StorMan Software, makers of the award winning StorMan software suite for self storage operators, have announced today that they have officially launched their new United Kingdom Support centre for their UK and Europe based clients. Mr Aaron Alsweiler, Group General Manager of StorMan Software, stated that “When we committed to opening an office in the UK, we understood the need to have local people supporting our software in a local office. This has proved to be beneficial throughout our global operations both for our company growth and the reputation of the service we provide. It also makes sense as we already have a local reseller, Mr Ian Allen, from UR Store Consultants, and this local support complements his efforts and provides a complete local UK based solution for our customers.”
StorMan software was launched at the recent SSAUK trade show in Brighton, in November 2008 to a tremendous response from local operators. Mr Ben Williams, General Manager of StorMan Software Australia Pty Ltd., stated “...it was important to us that when we set up our reseller in the UK that they have local support. I am pleased to say that to have found a local support person this quickly and of the calibre that we have is immensely pleasing as we can now move forward with confidence in the UK domestic market as well as to now start looking further afield in Europe and beyond.”
Mr Alsweiler has confirmed that Mr. Chris Corcoran has been appointed as the new support representative for StorMan in the UK. Mr Corcoran comes from within the local Self Storage Industry in England and has shown an extensive ability to master the more difficult areas of the StorMan software backend. Mr Alsweiler stated “When we were looking for someone in the local market we wanted someone who understood the local industry and was already conversant with the local trends and what would be relevant to our customers within the UK market. We also were looking for someone to take on the challenge of learning a new program and be able to explain how to make the transition from one way of doing things to another when people change their software. We as a team are very happy to be able to welcome someone with Chris’s technical skills onboard the global StorMan team and feel that he will be a fantastic asset to Ian and our UK operations.”
