Over the past few weeks, we've been testing Webcasting technology, and we're pleased to say that our first public WebCast is taking place on Friday 7th December 2007, at 7am (AEST). A WebCast, or Webinar, is basically a live, interactive, online training or demonstration session which takes place over the internet.
For the audio component, users can dial a telephone number in their local country. This allows WebCast participants to see and hear exactly what's going on - as well as ask questions, and interact with other callers. Our first WebCast, to be held next Friday (at the time of writing), is entitled "Introduction to StorMan', and is targeted at those who have never seen StorMan before. It's completely free to listen-in and join the session, so please check our Training & Events page for more information, or to register yourself for the WebCast.
The session will last for about 45 minutes, to an hour. From this point on, we'll be hosting fairly regular WebCasts on all kinds of topics, so, as mentioned earlier, keep an eye on our Training & Events page for all the dates & details, or simply subscribe to our Training & Events RSS feed and it'll automatically keep you up to date! Until next time...
Regards,
Andy (Marketing & Branding Manager, StorMan Australia)
