As part of the exhaustive process all of the software vendors above were given an opportunity to install and demonstrate their product using the latest versions that they had to offer and were given every opportunity to “ show-off” their features and the benefits that could be gained from using their particular software. Based on this, the software was scored. “Each assessment submitted was scored, scrutinised and put to the test, at various stages of the review, Vendors demonstrated their software and its features and were asked to "show" how their software did what it claimed to do based on the response given in their application.
