For all that read this who aren't directly involved in the UK, I'll quickly sum up what has been keeping the satirists busy since my last blog.
The volcano eruption in Iceland had closed all airspace over Europe, stranding thousands abroad... although, on a positive note it made my BBQ last Sunday a bit more peaceful (yes, we do have BBQ’s here occasionally!).
We also have a general election due in May, with lots of politicians giving their normal antics to win votes. All of the newspapers are full of exclusive stories about their private lives - all contradicting each other, of course. On a lighter note, some crazy Cornishman has been hypnotizing rabbits (not to be confused with the 200-foot pink bunny on an Italian mountainside... yes, the one you can see from space).
People here seem to be getting a bit less miserable now that the sun has been out for a while & summer is on its way. We can start looking forwards to getting outside again without five layers of jumpers, have some more BBQ's and, even better, we have a world cup to look forward to this summer! I hear New Zealand qualified for the first time since the Roman empire ;-)
On the StorMan front, our latest release is nearing completion - so rest assured that we're all working hard to get this out to you soon.
Regards,
Chris Corcoran (StorMan UK Sales & Support).
