StorMan: "How long have you been with Jewells and how long have you been using StorMan?"

Ben: "I have been with Jewells for the last 11 years.  I started as an Apprentice Mechanic in our workshop and have worked my way up from Mechanic to Furniture Removalist to Facility Manager. We've had StorMan since November 2008."

StorMan: "Tell us a little about the unit mix at Jewells Self Storage..."

Ben: "Our facility consists of approximately 200 units as well as several large warehouses and containers."

StorMan: "Other than Self Storage, what other services do you provide?"

Ben: "We run our removal business from the facility and have been in the removals and storage business since 1895. Our family business is now a 5th generation business. We also have a retail packing material warehouse and a new car storage division in addition to self storage and warehousing."

StorMan: "Any funny or interesting stories to tell?"

Ben: "We have many funny stories to tell but unfortunately we've been sworn to secrecy!"

StorMan: "Anything interesting about your area, or the building itself?"

Ben: "As we have been located here since 1970, we have a combination of modern tilt-slab buildings as well as Colourbond and block buildings. We are the closest facility to the CBD (approximately 2 km's), two blocks from James Street (main Warrego Highway). We are very close to the Toowoomba Base Hospital, in a mixed residential and light industry zone."

StorMan: "What do you like about StorMan?"

Ben: "StorMan has enabled us to merge our Removals, Storage and Packing Supplies day-to-day running's into one program."

StorMan: "If there was one standout feature, what would you say it is?"

Ben: "As we use a touch screen computer at our counter, the design of StorMan with Large Icons and drop-down menu enables us to use most parts of the software just by touching the screen, which saves us time. We're also looking forward to StorMan's v8.2 release, with it's auto-scaling dashboard screen - meaning that if we have a 24 inch monitor, then StorMan will use all 24 inches!"
