StorMan: "When did Storage King North Parramatta open its doors, how long have you been there and when did you start using StorMan?"

George: "Storage King North Parramatta opened its doors to the public January 2009, I started at the facility in November 2008 and was involved with the facility start up & preparations for our opening. We've been using StorMan since day 1."

StorMan: "Tell us a little about the unit mix..."

George: "We currently have 435 units at Storage King North Parramatta, we are now weeks away from starting stage two which will give us another 165 units."

StorMan: "Other than Self Storage, what other services do you provide?"

George: "Storage King North Parramatta offers its customers a wide range of boxes and packaging materials. We also do free home quotes, we have a free move service, we offer free home deliveries for boxes in the local and surrounding areas. When it comes to customers, we try and make their moving and storage experience as pleasant and painless as possible. We also have removalists who give our customers special rates, this can also include us arranging to have the customers' homes' pre-packed."

StorMan: "Any funny or interesting stories to tell?"

George: "Well nothing unusual has happened of late... but I have been in the industry for 10 years now and in my time I have seen a lot! One thing that does come to mind was that our facility was under surveillance by the Federal Police. Faster than you can blink an eye, they swarmed the facility with guns drawn - no one was allowed in or out of the facility. It turns out there it was a major tobacco raid!"

StorMan: "Anything interesting about your area, or the building itself?"

George: "Storage King North Parramatta is located on North Rocks Road. It is an existing building fitted out for self storage. Prior to it being storage it was a furniture manufacturing factory. The facility can be seen from James Ruse Drive, with thousands of cars passing on a daily basis. We are in a high volume area... surrounding our facility, we have Bunnings, Dick Smith, Hog's Breath Cafe, Hungry Jack's, Motor Mechanical and a variety of other shops."

StorMan: "What do you like about StorMan?"

George: "I have been using StorMan for many years now. It has the ability to create custom reports, the ability to do marketing mail out letters, the quoting section is fantastic, and the reports are easy to understand. StorMan allows me as a manager to understand my facility with what the customers are asking for and allow us to identify if there is a space mix issue at the facility."

StorMan: "If there was one standout feature, what would you say it is?"

George: "The new Thinc Module is fantastic, as it saves time on daily processing with integrated SMS, direct debits, credit cards and SMS 'delivery receipts' - all built-in to the program. I also look forward to what is to come in future upgrades."
